Military 'Brats' to screen in Gulf Breeze

Filmmaker Donna Musil will screen her documentary, "Brats: Our Journey Home," at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. Thursday at Gulf Breeze Cinema 4, in the Village Live Oak Shopping Center.   Musil will be on hand for questions.

Military "brats" are people with a parent in the military who grow up on bases around the world.   The documentary explores the challenges brats face adjusting to mainstream America.

Famous brats in the film include retired Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf and singer/actor Kris Kristofferson, who narrates the film and provided original songs to the soundtrack.
